QR code photo sharing for events
Last updated 26 September 2026
How it works
A QR code photo album is a shared album with a code that opens it. You print the code and put it up at the event. Guests scan it with their phone camera, join the album, and upload what they shoot. The host sees every photo in one place, as it arrives.
Setting one up with Fondays
- Create a pool in the Fondays app.
- Open the pool's invite and copy the link. Make a free printable table sign from it at fondays.com/wedding-qr-sign.
- Put it where people wait: tables, the bar, the entrance, the photo booth.
- Guests scan, install Fondays, sign in and join. Their photos go straight into the pool.
What makes people actually scan it
- One clear line next to the code, saying what they get: "See everyone's photos from tonight."
- At eye level and well lit. A code on the floor or in a dark corner gets ignored.
- A mention from the stage. People scan when someone tells them to.
- A live slideshow of the album on a screen (Radiance). When guests see their photo appear, they add more.

Questions people ask
- Is a QR code photo album private?
- On Fondays, yes. Only people who join the album can see it, and the host can remove anyone.
- Can I show the photos live on a screen?
- Yes. Radiance includes a live slideshow wall: put it on a screen at the venue and new photos appear as guests add them.
- Does it work for a conference or a corporate event?
- Yes. The same pool works for any event, and Studio covers planners and venues running many events.
