A disposable camera app for weddings and parties

Last updated 26 September 2026

The idea

Disposable cameras on the tables are fun because nobody sees the photos until later. The catch: buying them, collecting them, paying to develop them, and half the shots coming back blank. A disposable camera app keeps the fun part. Guests shoot on their phones, the photos stay hidden, and the whole album is revealed at once.

How it works in Fondays

  • Create a pool and seal it as a Dark Room, then pick the drop time: the morning after, a week later, whenever you like.
  • Put the QR code on the tables in place of the cameras.
  • Guests join and shoot. Nobody sees the photos until the drop, not even the person who took them.
  • At the reveal time, the whole album opens for everyone at once.

Questions people ask

Can the host see the photos before the reveal?
Only if you choose to. By default a sealed pool stays sealed for everyone, the host included, until the drop time. The host can turn on peeking.
Can I still get prints?
Yes. After the reveal, order prints, a photobook or a framed piece straight from the album, shipped to you.
